Do you charge a fee to plan my vacation?
No. My vacation planning service is completely free to you. I am compensated by the travel suppliers — cruise lines, resorts, and tour operators — after your trip is completed. This means I'm paid only when you travel and have a great experience, so my incentives are 100% aligned with yours.
How does a free travel agent make money?
Travel advisors are paid a commission by the travel suppliers — cruise lines, Disney, all-inclusive resorts, and tour operators — after your trip is completed. You pay the same price whether you book through me or directly. The supplier pays the commission out of their own margin, not by charging you extra.
What types of vacations can you help plan?
I specialize in Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Studios, ocean cruises, river cruises, all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, Hawaii vacations, and Europe trips. My preferred resort brands include Sandals, Secrets, Hyatt All-Inclusive Collection, Hyatt Zilara, Zoëtry, Hard Rock Hotels, RIU, Iberostar, and Playa Hotels & Resorts.
Can you help if I'm not sure where to go yet?
Absolutely. That's one of the most common ways people reach out. Just tell me your budget, travel dates, who's going, and what you want the trip to feel like — relaxing, adventurous, family fun, romantic — and I'll narrow it down to a few strong options that match your goals.
Do you help with Disney World dining reservations and Lightning Lane?
Yes. As an authorized Disney vacation planner, I help with resort selection, ticket options, dining reservations, Lightning Lane strategy, park-by-park itineraries, and the full game plan for your trip. Disney planning has a lot of moving parts — I handle the complexity so you don't have to.
How far in advance should I book a Disney vacation?
For Disney World, I recommend booking 6–11 months in advance, especially for on-site resort stays during peak periods like spring break, summer, and Christmas. Disney dining reservations open 60 days before your arrival date, so the earlier you lock in your resort, the better positioned you'll be for popular restaurants.
What is the best cruise line for first-time cruisers from DFW?
For families, Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Line are typically the best fits for first-timers. For adults or couples, Norwegian or Celebrity offer a great first experience. The right answer depends on your group, budget, and what matters most — entertainment, dining, itinerary, or ship size. I can walk you through the differences and find the right fit.
Do you help with all-inclusive resort vacations?
Yes. I specialize in all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. My preferred brands include Sandals Resorts for adults-only romance, Secrets and Hyatt Zilara for upscale adults-only experiences, Zoëtry for spa and quiet luxury, Dreams and Hyatt Ziva for families, and Hard Rock Hotels and RIU for high-energy, value-focused options.
Is travel insurance worth it for a cruise or vacation?
In most cases, yes — especially for cruises. A single medical evacuation at sea can cost $50,000 or more and is not covered by standard health insurance. Travel protection also covers trip cancellation, missed connections, and lost baggage. I always recommend reviewing coverage options before finalizing any booking.
Do you help with group travel and multi-generational trips?
Yes. Group bookings, family reunions, multi-room cruises, and celebration trips are all common. Cruise lines and resorts often have special group amenities and pricing tiers that I can help you access. The earlier you reach out for group travel, the better the availability and pricing.
What makes using a travel advisor better than booking online myself?
A travel advisor saves you time, catches mistakes, and adds value you can't get from a booking website. I know which cabins to avoid, which resorts have the best service, which Disney add-ons are worth it, and how to protect your trip if something goes wrong. I'm also your advocate if an airline cancels, a resort has an issue, or your plans need to change — Expedia won't call the resort on your behalf.
Do you work with clients outside the DFW Metroplex?
Yes — I can help anyone living in the United States, regardless of where they are located. While I'm based in Rockwall, TX, I have clients from all across the country and have been helping travelers nationwide for nearly a decade. Whether you're in Dallas, Houston, Chicago, or California, the planning process works exactly the same way — by phone, text, or email, at no cost to you.
How do I get started planning my vacation with you?
