What's the best port to depart from when flying out of DFW?

Galveston (Houston) is the most popular drive option for DFW — about 4.5 hours from Rockwall. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa are excellent fly-to options with many more itinerary choices. New Orleans is another popular drive port. I'll help you weigh the tradeoffs of driving vs. flying based on your timeline and budget.

Do I need cruise travel protection?
